Camp David TFR much bigger for G-8 Summit Wednesday, May 16, 2012 (336 reads)
Pilots flying to or through the Mid-Atlantic region May 18 & 19, take note. The FAA has issued its NOTAM for the G-8 economic summit to be held at Camp David near Thurmont, Md., and the temporary flight restriction (TFR) is much larger than usual – 60 nautical miles in diameter instead of 20 n.m.
